Gazment Bardhi has stated that today’s protest (February 20) on Boulevard “Dëshmorët e Kombit” will be a citizen’s protest and not for the Democratic Party.
Invited to the show “Open” on News24, Bardhi said that the protest will be peaceful, but emphasized that if the citizens decide to confront, it is their duty as organizers to be at the head of every confrontation.
According to Gazment Bardhi, citizen response cannot be commanded or organized by script.
“The protest was called by the DP and the united opposition, but it is not a protest for the DP, but for the citizens. It is the citizens who have thousands of reasons to protest and they will be the ones who will decide how long the protest will last. Those who seek change in this will have to be in the square to agree that they do not agree with this government
Don’t expect me to reveal the script because even the civic reaction is not a scripted or organized reaction. There is a scenario of how the protest will be organized. But you will have the opportunity to follow tomorrow in relation to the speakers.
Any citizen who has the opportunity to be in the square at that hour, I am convinced that he will be.
It is a protest of the citizens and not only of the Democrats or the Democratic Party. Every citizen who finds reasons to oppose the government should go out in protest.
