The democratic deputy speaker of the Assembly, Agron Gjekmarkaj, was involved yesterday evening in a debate with the moderator of “Top Story”, Grida Duma, due to the fact that he was continuously interrupted by the other panelists while giving his arguments.
Gjekmarkaj said that this could be his last show that he participated in, as according to him, the opposition should no longer be a topic of debate as it is already united.
THE DEBATE:
Gjekmarkaj: He has conspired.
Duma: Alban, please… When you are on a primetime political show, you cannot expect a monologue because there are 6 of us, including me. There is no point in having a monologue, this is a political debate.
Gjekmarkaj: Everything has a limit. You cannot instruct the other person until he has not said a word.
Duma: No, no. Maybe everyone doesn’t understand themselves because I have the same dissatisfaction with everyone.
Gjekmarkaj: They can’t intervene like autokomban to saw my thoughts. Now what does that mean?
Duma: I intervened in case two or three things could be debated.
Gjekmarkaj: I have a television education that I want to listen to others and respect them. I don’t want to throw it away, but I want the other to listen to me until the end.
Duma: You know very well that if the logical flow of the debate goes away, we cannot go back to it. This is where the debate makes sense because I can’t tell them I’m arguing, I’m arguing. So the debate arises naturally.
Gjekmarkaj: I thought that there are some things that are of interest to the public and should be answered. Albani intervened to become the noisemaker.
Duma: Do you want to stay in that position as a party member or as an intellectual?
Gjekmarkaj: I gave the answer… I couldn’t finish a sentence because I was destroyed. People don’t need to hear the same politicians, see the same figures with all due respect to everyone. The protest should also generate new leadership attached to the opposition, speakers from different social, intellectual, civic layers, etc… This did not happen at the moment, but I think it should happen next time. The presence in the square yesterday was a political act of every citizen, even with their own silence, because they supplied energy to the opposition, which is in an aggression for its own fault. I probably have my last show to come and talk about opposition issues because I think this debate should be closed. The opposition has solved its problems and is now in a united institution.
Duma: Where else will you speak Agron?
Dudushi: They have closed the internal affairs now…/Top Channel
