The Minister of Defense, Niko Peleshi, left the premises of the Special Prosecutor’s Office after 2 and a half hours of questioning.
Peleshi did not prefer to talk to the media for a long time, while after the insistence of the journalists, he stated that he was called to SPAK: “For reasons of the work position”.
Another question that was addressed to him by the journalists was about the issue of incinerators, but Niko Peleshi refused to answer.
The head of the Defense Department appeared at the Special Prosecutor’s Office around 09:50 am on Tuesday (March 5). It is learned that he received a summons to appear at SPAK at 10:00.
This is the first time that Minister Peleshi appears at SPAK. Niko Peleshi also held the position of Deputy Prime Minister in the period 2013-2017. While in the period September 2017-January 2019, he served as Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.
