A 20-year-old Albanian woman lost her life in a road accident that happened this morning in Patridha of the North in Greece.
The event happened at 9.40 am, in the sixth kilometer of the road network that connects Veria with Skydra.
The two victims, a 68-year-old woman and a 20-year-old Albanian woman identified with the initials E. D., from the Tërbuf and Divjak Administrative Unit, according to testimonies, were waiting at the bus station, when, under circumstances that are being investigated, they were hit by a car driven by a 64-year-old man, who lost control of the vehicle, causing it to go off the road.
According to the Police, the two women were taken to the Veria hospital, where they were pronounced dead. Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle has been arrested.
