A serious event was recorded today (April 13) in the city of Lezha, where 62-year-old Arsen Ferit Dani stabbed to death his 88-year-old mother, Gjylije Dani.
After the incident, the 62-year-old man, who is suspected of suffering from mental health problems, was arrested by the police.
The authorities have also seized the cutting tool, knife, with which the murder was committed.

Around 2:30 p.m., citizen A. D., 62 years old, resident of “Besëlidhja” neighborhood (suspected citizen with mental health problems), killed his mother, citizen Gj., with a cutting tool (knife). D., 88 years old.
The Police Services have arrested the citizen A. D. in the act and seized the cutting tool (knife) with which the murder was committed.
The investigative group, led by the Prosecutor’s Office, is following the actions at the scene to clarify and document with legal evidence the circumstances of the case.
