Xelal Mziu is reported to have given explanations as part of an investigation into abuse of tenders during the time he was running the Kamëz Municipality.
Mziu has been in charge of the Kamza Municipality for three terms, from 2007 to 2019. He no longer ran for mayor because the opposition boycotted the local elections.
