Xhimi Bakaj is the 23-year-old who remained dead this Friday, after being shot with a knife by Xuliano Miho on “Ramiz Aranitasi” street in Fier.
Initially, he was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, but he could not survive.
According to police sources, the reason for the murder of the young man was the divorce between the author and his wife with whom he has two children.
The latter had left the apartment for several months and was living with the 23-year-old. The perpetrator met the victim on the street and after an argument, shot him three times with a knife.
After the incident, the 39-year-old man was put in handcuffs, while the investigative group is working to clarify the circumstances and document the legal case.
“Around 21:00, on the street “Ramiz Aranitasi”, citizen Xh. M., 39 years old, during a conflict for weak motives, hit citizen Xh. with a cutting tool (knife). B., 23 years old, who died in the hospital as a result of his injuries.
The Police Services have arrested and escorted to the Police the citizen Xh. M., and further procedural actions are being carried out. The investigative group is working on clarifying the circumstances and legal documentation of the case”, according to the police.
