We all know Armaldo Kllogjeri as “Maestro”.
The tenor became famous by participating in “Big brother Vip Albania”, where he managed to win the hearts of the public with his character.
But after the end of this format for Armaldo, a tenor with a long career in our country, apparently things did not go as he expected.
He revealed that the Opera and Ballet Theater fired him and that he had started a lawsuit with them to challenge the decision.
Exclusively for “Kafe Shqeto” today, Armaldo Kllogjeri said that when he remembers what he had gone through to get there, he gets excited because it was an extremely big job and the departure was very unfair.
“It was understood that it was a political catapult, and obviously people who do not have an established cultural career are supported by politics to achieve their goals in the professional sphere,” said the maestro.
Armaldo Kllogjeri:
“I was forced to be a part of this musical stream, even though I have said that before starting classical music I sang folk music at family celebrations and parties.
When you create a family and raise children, you will find all the ways to become the head of the family and support the family.
I have left TOB since the exit of the BBV house, from the director Abigeila Voshtina, and I have been without a job from this institution for almost a year.
To be honest, when I look back and remember what I’ve been through to get there, I get excited to be honest, because it’s been a tremendous amount of work.
From the monetary and psychological side and the sacrifices the family made for me to be the first soloist of that theater, because you have to invest a lot, but unfortunately like everything that happens in Albania, logic is put before emotions.
I cannot have a political attack regarding what I have shown, politics spreads its tentacles too much and as the saying goes, ‘you can’t tell where the smoke came from’.
When Mrs. Voshtina came before TOB and presented herself as a director, she had no contribution either to the theater or to the cultural activity in the country and she developed her activity outside of Albania.
