Amid tensions, accusations, insults and debates, this plenary session is taking place in the Parliament of Albania. “Remnant”, that’s what Prime Minister Edi Rama called the opposition, while the reaction of the Democrats was immediate.

The head of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party, Gazment Bardhi, addressed Rama, saying: “Who is garbage and who is unwashed and who stinks 3 km from where he is, every Albanian and colleague who is here in the hall knows . Go cut your nails, wash, cure yourself and then come and become the prime minister of Albania”.

Meanwhile, the reaction of the former deputy and political leader in the Tirana district, Belind Kelliçit, has recently come. Although he is not in the Assembly, Këlliçi is following with great interest this plenary session where the draft budget for 2025 is being discussed.

On his account on the “X” social network, Kelliçi posted a photo taken years ago of the head of the government, Edi Rama, in the middle of the garbage.

The former deputy describes Rama as the “king of garbage”, who “counteracts the corruption of business with incinerators”.

“Edi Rama, the king of garbage, who reeks of corruption from his business with incinerators and waste, today had the courage to consider the opposition as ‘waste’… It must be when you fix the garbage, when you are surrounded by garbage and when you got rich and bought vote from stealing with the waste, your mind will stay in the trash!!!”, writes Këlliçi.
