Luis Meçja, the 14-year-old who was injured in the fight where his friend Martin Cani was killed, near the “Fan Noli” school, has given an interview for the Top Story show on Top Channel.

He emphasized that he stands by his previous testimony that there were two people with two knives at the scene.

The 14-year-old said that he is still scared from the incident, but feels calmer.

Full interview with Luis:

Journalist: How are you?

Minor L.M.: I am better.

Journalist: You are better, the wounds are closing…

Minor L.M.: The wounds are closing. Over time, I believe I will get even better.

Journalist: And from a psychological point of view, are you calm after what happened?

Minor L.M.: With what I saw… I feel a little scared but I believe that this too will pass.

Journalist: Did everyone’s care and the doctors help you get through this situation?

Minor L.M.: Yes, I want to thank all Albanians for the contribution and support they gave me, as well as the doctors who saved my life.

Journalist: You are the main person who influenced the clarification of the incident. You said that there was a second perpetrator or not, at the time of the incident? Can you describe to us what happened?

Minor L.M.: I don’t think I will talk more about this because I gave the statement where it is necessary… but I don’t know if I am allowed to or not.

Minor L.M.: I want to give a message to everyone that it is not good to fight because fighting brings many consequences.

Journalist: Did you know Marion before?

Minor L.M.: No.

Journalist: Were you in parallel classes?

Minor L.M.: No. I didn’t know him as a person.

Journalist: Were you just helping Martin?

Minor L.M.: Yes, I was just protecting Martin.

Journalist: You said there were two people with knives at the scene. Does that stand up to this version?

Minor L.M.: Yes, I still stand by the statement I gave until the end.

Journalist: So you saw two weapons…two different knives at the scene and two people holding them.

Minor L.M.: Yes.

Journalist: And after the fight ended, what happened? Do you remember how you dispersed?

Minor L.M.: My cousin, Marsidi, helped me. He was at 9 Katëshet and then I don’t remember anything about being able to turn it off.
