The National Coordinator of the Democratic Party for the Diaspora, Jozefina Topalli, invited to EuroNews, expressed the reasons for leaving the Democratic Party some time ago and commented on her return to the political structures of the DP.
Topalli says that she was removed during a bad period of the party, but with the re-establishment she was among the first present in the DP, while during that time she kept a low profile so as not to influence or be involved in the party’s problems at that time.
“This has been a difficult period for the Democratic Party, I have never left, I was removed for a certain period but with the re-establishment I am one of the first to be there.
I worked in the Lezha district in the structures of the Democratic Party, I kept a low profile because I did not want to interfere in any way with the problems that the Democratic Party was having.
Now that the DP has gone through its most difficult moments, which come not only through the divisions that have occurred in the past, but also through the seizure of the seal, the flag, and the arrest of the opposition leader.
All of these have been very serious events not only for the opposition force, but for pluralism and oppositionism in general,” said Josefina Topalli.
