The Tirana Prosecution Office filed charges against the sisters Antonela and Mariela Berisha, who hit 26-year-old Klea Prenga with hard objects last summer.
Prosecutor Ndini Tavani requested 3 years in prison for Mariela Berisha, who is currently under “house arrest,” but since the summary trial, if found guilty, the sentence is reduced to 2 years.
While for Antonela, he requested 3 years of probation, which with the summary trial is reduced to 2 years of probation.
The two sisters surrendered to the police in October 2024, and are accused of committing the criminal offense of “intentional serious injury, committed in collaboration.”
