DP MP Dashnor Sula states that 6 out of 7 municipalities in the Elbasan district are unrepresented in the May 11 elections.
He focuses on the Democratic Party primaries, where he states that ‘the democrats of the Peqin, Belsh, Cërrik, Gramsh municipalities chose the candidate they wanted to represent by bringing out the one with the most votes in the district’, while adding that ‘in the blue headquarters, the “SPAK-ists” are problematic and should be excluded from the closed and open lists’.

In the 2021 elections, the municipalities of Peqin, Belsh, Cërrik, Gramsh, Librazhd, Përrenjas gave the Democratic Party 26,583 votes, enough for three mandates of deputies in Parliament.
But despite this very important fact, after May 11, these citizens will not have any representatives in Parliament because there is no candidate representing these areas on the closed list of the DP in Elbasan.

Despite my continuous efforts to have contact with the mayor and others last week about the lists “Close to him, the decision was made on their part that these municipalities would rather not have any representatives than have me be them,” he says.
