MP Ori Nebijaj, who has decided to withdraw from the race for the May 11 parliamentary elections, has commented on the campaign being carried out by candidates for MPs and party leaders in the country through a post on social media.
Nebijaj ironically states that if he had known that the campaign would be conducted only online, he would have created seven parties.
Nebijaj further adds that very soon all those who are campaigning will get upset when they realize that likes and shares on social networks do not translate into votes.
“If I had known that the campaigns would be conducted only online and the leaders of these radically differentiating forces would have ambitions simply to become influencers, I would have created 7 parties only from Instagram.
Inshaallah they will not get upset when they realize that likes, shares and views do not translate into votes,” Nebijaj writes.
