The leader of “Shqipëria Bëhet”, Adriatik Lapaj, has filed a defamation complaint against the leader of the “Mundësia” party, Agron Shehaj, in the Special Court.
Lapaj stated that there are at least 8 documented cases of defamation.
Lapaj told the media that he did not want such a conflict with Shehaj, especially with the new parties, because according to him this would please Prime Minister Edi Rama.
During his speech before entering the Special Court, Lapaj said that Shehaj had claimed in the media that he, as a lawyer, had represented criminal companies that had been seized by SPAK and that he had received money from these companies.
Lapaj called on Shehaj to verify his claims about him in court.
“I did not want to create conflict between the youth, but whoever seeks war will find war. Mr. Shehaj must come with documents to prove the claims. I, Adriatik Lapaj, with full responsibility say that neither I, nor my mother, nor my father, nor any of my immediate family members own a single meter of land in Albania, not more. He claimed that I represented crime companies that were seized by SPAK and that I received money from these companies. A journalist should come out to verify that I received a cent from these companies,” Lapaj told reporters.
