The Central Election Commission has revealed the dates for the distribution of ballots for the May 11 parliamentary elections for those living outside Albania. In a post on the social network Facebook, the head of the CEC, Ilirjan Celibashi, announced that the ballots will arrive in Europe from April 15 to 22, while in other continents they will arrive from April 15 to 25.
After receiving the ballots, citizens living abroad must send them to the CEC within 3 days. The process is free of charge for voters, as the cost of postage is covered by the CEC.
The head of the CEC, Ilirjan Celibashi, emphasized that this is an important opportunity to ensure the participation of Albanians abroad in the elections, ensuring that they can vote at no cost.
“The Ballot Paper will come to you! Read and Distribute it – FOR VOTERS ABROAD Ballot papers will arrive: In Europe: from April 15 to 22. In other continents: from April 15 to 25. Once you receive it, send the ballot paper to the CEC within 3 days from the moment of receipt! You will not spend anything – Postage is paid by the CEC”, writes Celibashi.
