Argita Malltezi, the daughter of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, has warned that she will enter politics, if she deems it necessary.
When asked by journalists, she said that she hopes that the situation in the country will pass into the legality pits, while she emphasized that Sali Berisha’s trial is an injustice.
“Currently we stay in this form that I am doing today, but I can escalate it by making other decisions towards politics”, said Malltezi.
Question: It is a question that you have been asked continuously, but as there are developments, your answer may have changed. I’m talking about the declaration if you are ready to run for a position in DP if necessary. Is the trial against Berisha encouraging you to enter politics?
Argita Malltezi: I hope that the whole situation in the country will fall into legality and the processes will follow their legal path, including the political ones that have their legality tracks. Of course I will stand if I think it’s an injustice worth standing against. We are currently in this form that I am doing today, but I can escalate it by making other decisions towards politics.
