“It’s not true!”, Adriatik Lapaj replied on A2 CNN, when asked if he was the only one left of the three main figures who founded the “Albania Becomes” movement, after the distancing shown by actor Florjan Binaj and activist Edlira Çepani.
Lapaj further stated that Florjan Binaj has focused on his career beyond politics and that Çepani, after the death of her husband, Gert Bogdani, needs to take her time.
“To my knowledge, Mr. Binaj had a moment of need to express himself again as an expert in his field, that is, to engage in production and films, and a burden from his own family, that is, commitments. Meanwhile, Mrs. Çepani until now, may he rest in peace, he had this problem that happened to him. This is not an interpretation that we can make. Let Mrs. Çepani get over the relevant situation for a while,” said Lapaj.
Faced with the fact that Edlira Çepan has completely avoided “Shqipëria Bëhet”, as there are no likes on social networks, Lapaj said that with the trauma caused by the separation from her husband, the lady in question probably doesn’t have time to deal with social networks.
“You know Mrs. Çepan, I grew up in the squares and I ate bread with Mrs. Çepan. You just know her. Maybe they don’t have time to give likes because with all the trauma that Mrs. Çepan went through, she doesn’t care about likes. I give her hearts and likes to every post of hers. If you want, I can tell you, I spoke to Mrs. Çepan yesterday. I love her very much, and I have the best relationship with her, at least with anyone,” Lapaj said.
In the end, he was careful to explain that a possible departure of these two figures from the ranks of “Albania Becomes” would not be surprising, since according to him, people get tired of politics and do not finish their journey.
“But keep one thing in mind, politics is not everyone’s final destination. Find me a political party in the world, not in Albania, that all those who start it, end up with. There are people who have problems along the way, there are people who get tired, there are people who develop new passions along the way, there are people who fall in love and pack their bags and run away to China or Japan. It is important to move forward with the structure and principles. I may get tired one day, because what will the structure stop me. The structure is not me. The structure is the principle and the people who represent it”, explained Lapaj.
