The Speaker of the Parliament, Elisa Spiropali, has expelled MP Agron Shehaj from today’s parliamentary session after the latter blocked the rostrum for several minutes.
Although the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, had the floor for a question of procedure, Shehaj again refused to vacate the rostrum. After several warnings, Spiropali has expelled him from the session, telling him that if he is going to copy the DP MPs who block the rostrum, he better listen to the original Sali Berisha.

“Deputy Sali Berisha has the floor, or shall we continue with the other speakers. No one can block the podium. Sit down, unblock the podium. I draw your attention, if you repeat it I will give you a warning. Don’t create unnecessary scenes, I will take away your right to speak.
Leave the podium because I will exclude you from the session. If they are for the sake of revolution, they will pass. I have given the floor to a deputy, you cannot take the floor by force. Since they are bad copies of some others, the originals are better. We better listen to the originals than you.
Is it possible not to block the podium of the Assembly, we can agree that a deputy cannot block the podium. The deputy should sit down. Unblock the podium. Deputy Berisha has the floor.
