He has made all Albanians laugh with his roles in films and telecomedies, but few know that Sejfulla Myftaraj, known as Cekja, has also had many difficult moments in his life.
In an interview in “Quo Vadis”, he told the most difficult moment of his life, where in 2003 he had an accident with a person.
Cekja confesses that after that moment he went through difficulties, and for a year he did not appear on television, while he thanked his family for the support they gave him during those “dark” times.
Pranvera Borakaj: In addition to the joys you have given endlessly, it has been a difficult year for you, the year 2003. Where did you give an interview and say, I had problems with my wife’s health, you broke your leg, was there an accident?
Cekja: Absolutely yes, they were the two most difficult moments of my life, the accident where I crushed a person and when I broke my leg, especially the accident, it stayed in my memory for a long time.
Spring Boracay: Was it difficult to recover?
Cekja: Very difficult, I didn’t appear on television for almost a year, I was so obsessed.
Spring Borakaj: How did you spend that event?
Cekja: The first 2-3 months were difficult for me, I couldn’t get through it.
Pranvera Borakaj: Did the family stay by your side at that time?
Pranvera Borakaj: What was it like to face justice at that time, an actor who is always funny?
Cekja: No one will cause the accident. It was one thing, because you were in the center of attention, when all the televisions came, I said that I did not do heroism. “O Ceke”, they told me, “you are someone, you had an accident”. The moment I gave the interview I was touched, there were malicious people who said look what an actor he is pretending to cry.
Spring Borakaj: What annoys you, ingratitude?
Cekja: Ingratitude is the worst thing in life. They told God who to take to hell, the ungrateful or the murderer? God said to the ungrateful, this is the worst person in life.
