Analyst Neritan Sejamini has spoken about the seizure of power by the majority and the reaction of the opposition, which has recently started several protests.
Invited to the show “The Unexposed” on MCN TV, Sejamini said that the opposition no longer needs to sensitize people to the autocratic features of the regime, as Albanians and foreigners are sufficiently informed about it, but it needs to inspire people to join them to overthrow the government.
According to the analyst, if the opposition continuously brings 50 thousand people to the streets, it can also topple this authoritarian regime.
“It is a situation for which we cannot say that there is a single solution. We have a personal government, Mr. Rama, who governs autocratically and all institutions are notary offices.
Nothing happens in the Council, it is only a notary, it has no constitutional role.
The way it is governed, Mr. Rama, together with some businessmen and some media owners, take all the decisions of the country. We have personal power that is run in a non-institutional way.
How to get out of this situation?
It is a situation that only the people can overthrow, they are afraid even the power itself.
The opposition must find a strategy to raise the people against the government.
The opposition is doing its own muscle, it is isolated from the people. The role of the opposition is to make people for themselves.
What the opposition is doing wrong today is that the focus should not be on these tactics, because they have media value, but in the end nothing comes of it.
That Assembly does not decide anything at all.
What is the opposition doing with the people? The opposition must ask themselves, with what I did today, did I add any votes, did I inspire the citizens to unite?
Today there is no one who does not know what is happening in Albania. Both foreigners and Albanians know it. The point is no one is interested in changing it.
An opposition brought 50,000 people to the streets, overthrowing this regime.
If the opposition does not take out 50 thousand citizens in a systematic way, this change will not happen”, said Sejamini.
