The former Minister of Health, Ilir Beqaj, is arrested. Two other people have also been arrested.
Beqaj’s lawyer has confirmed his arrest, while it is learned that the operation was executed by the Tirana police.

Currently, there are two files against the former minister Beqaj, that of the sterilization concessionaire, for which he is being investigated under the security measure “obligation to appear” for “abuse of duty” related to the sterilization concessionary contract in violation of the law.
