The Central Election Commission is ready to distribute the financial fund that the state budget allocates to political parties participating in the 2021 elections.
The annual funds are determined based on the number of deputies and votes that each political force received in the last parliamentary battle. The total amount that the political parties benefit from the state budget is 345 million lek and the “lion’s” share will be taken by the Socialist Party, which managed to secure the necessary support to govern alone. The 74 mandates won translate into 151 million ALL for the pink seat.
The Freedom Party in the last parliamentary elections went down to the level of 2009, securing only 4 mandates, which translates into less money for the party’s coffers, about 15 million ALL, meanwhile the three mandates of the PSD, means 12 million ALL in the party treasury.
