One person was killed and another was injured in the village of Gurez in Kurbin at 07:00 this Saturday morning.
The event took place in the premises of a company where inerts are processed. The police say that the victim is 70-year-old Selman Mihana, the company’s economist, while the owner, 51-year-old Ardjan Gjeloshi, was injured. The latter was taken to the hospital for medical assistance. It is learned that the 51-year-old man was shot by 2 piercing bullets, one above the pelvis and one in the left hand.
Ardjan Gjeloshi, 51 years old, the owner of the inert company in Kurbin, was the target of the assassination that happened this morning around 07:00.
The deputy director for the investigation of crimes in the Lezha Police, Gentian Berberi, told the media that possible conflicts in Gjelos are being investigated. The latter himself was injured by the assassination, but the bullets took the life of the company’s economist, Selman Mihana, 70 years old.
“It is suspected that he was shot with an automatic machine. There is data on the movement of authors with a tool. We are investigating the conflicts, the disagreements that the person who attempted to kill has. The target of the assassination is the person who was injured. Fortunately, he is in good condition, he is under the care of doctors”, said Gentian Berberi.
The attack shocked Kurbin this morning, when the Kalashnikov barrage in the premises of an inert company took the life of the economist and injured the owner. The latter is reported to be out of danger for life.
Meanwhile, many police forces, including RENEA, are conducting checks to catch the perpetrators. The latter are suspected to have been driving a vehicle at the time of the assassination.
