MP Lulzim Basha was invited yesterday evening to the show “Top Story” where he spoke about the current political situation.
Basha admitted that it is a small group within the Democratic Party, but according to him, they have bigger aspirations. He appealed to the Court of Appeal not to delay the issue of the DP seal.
Grida Duma: How is the relationship with you? Can you apologize and are you washed up? You did no harm?
Lulzim Basha: There are two things, the first for a part that I apologized for, I asked in the name of the party and not personally, for damages that were caused by DP leaders, but not necessarily by Basha. I asked for reflection. I apologize on a political level, and on a personal level. Whether the feeling is sincere depends on reflection.
Robert Rakipllari: You said that it is a Ramizist policy, etc., and the main model is Berisha, who has been in politics for 34 years… Are you yourself part of this policy?
Lulzim Basha: I change in every aspect of them. In terms of training, I differ, I know how to give the vehicle, I am saying this as a joke… my training belongs to the west, my aspirations for a western Albania. My vision for Albania was never given a chance. There is a way to bring it back to the Albanians, starting with the Electoral Reform.
Reduction of the membership list
Lulzim Basha: DP has a statute and a law on which it exists and it is in court and I call on the Appeal not to delay it a minute longer, and it is a matter that does not have to be judged… There is no doubt that the aggression against DP has come at a great cost. This aggression has consequences for the Albanians, the DP and the membership of the DP. But after two years many things have happened. It seems at the moment that there is a larger group but with more limited interests and aspirations, and a smaller group with larger interests and aspirations.
