MP Dashnor Sula withdrew yesterday from the ‘Albania Becomes’ coalition, where he was ranked 19th on the open list of the Elbasan district.
Regarding this departure, the leader of the coalition Adriatik Lapaj reacted, where in a conversation with citizens live on Facebook, he stated that there was disagreement from the membership regarding the democratic MP.
“I have respect for Mr. Dash Sula because he voted against the changes of 2008 and at that time he was also a majority MP, he voted in favor of the justice reform and defended it and against the closure of the lists in the last vote that they did. We have called for us not to be closed to anyone who had a certain political conviction before. We have said that we will not cooperate with those who have made decisions to change the lives of Albanians for the worse. The idea of collaborating with Mr. Sula has been welcomed, we are a movement that makes decisions by talking to the membership and due to disagreements we will go to the elections without Dash Sula. We are not on this path to disappoint anyone, but to do the best for our country,’ said Lapaj.
