The Minister of State for Relations with the Parliament, Elisa Spiropali, has stated that three quarters of the ministers and deputies may no longer be in office in 2025, including herself.
In an interview on Top Channel, Spiropali said that the Parliament has all the rights and space given by the Constitution to enable the executive and institutions to report on some issues that are “in everyone’s eyes”, such as the EU report with recommendations relevant.
According to her, this is not a matter of individuals or identities.
“It’s not a matter of time, it’s a matter of the objective of where you will reach. This session ends very soon and the last session for this legislature begins. We decided that it should now. The Good Governance Commission is a commission that aims to come up with an action plan.
Parliament has all the rights and space given by the Constitution to enable both the executive, independent institutions and those established by law to report on some issues that are there for everyone to see: the EU report with the relevant recommendations. For us, this is not a matter of individuals or identities. I am, I may not be in Parliament or in the government.
Three quarters of the government or Parliament is and may not be in the Government or Parliament. What remains and is unchangeable is our desire, will and work to leave a stronger Albania”, said Spiropali.
