Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku has become the subject of barbs and retorts between the head of the DP Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, and the Speaker of the Assembly, Elisa Spiropali.
While Bardhi declared that Minister Balluku and Mayor Erion Veliaj: “They are ready to pay hitmen to kill each other,” Spiropali intervened, telling her that the accusations she is making are serious.
Then, Bardhi responded to Spiropali, saying that in public she pretends to defend him, but according to him in private she says different things about him, just like Balluku.
“You can’t read hearts” – was Spiropali’s retort to Bardhi.
Excerpts from the discussion:
Bardhi: As for our internal problems, we are open and we do them in public. We are not Erion Veliaj and Belinda Balluku who are being killed and are ready to pay hitmen to kill each other.
Spiropali: Please, Mr. Bardhi, these are serious accusations, they are not political rhetoric…
Bardhi: First of all, every time you mention Belinda, you pretend to protect her. I know very well how much you love her, so please let me finish…
Spiropali: Mr. Bardhi, you can’t read hearts. You can’t read how much I love Belinda Balluku…
Bardhi: I know what you say in private…
Spiropali: Oh Mr. Bardhi, not accusations…
Bardhi: I can’t read hearts, but I know what you and she say about you in private about each other.
So they pay hitmen to kill each other. And in the photo they appear as brother and sister.
