Deputy of the Democratic Party Ferdinad Xhaferaj commented on the tour of meetings of Prime Minister Edi Rama with the diaspora.
Xhaferaj said in an interview for Euronews Albania that unlike the rest of the opposition, he supports this tour as such gatherings make Albanians in the diaspora feel good and represented.
“Currently, Rama has started a tour of meetings in the diaspora. There are many accusations from Albanian politics that say that he is doing this tour in the diaspora because he is looking for the vote of immigrants, just as the opposition is looking for the vote of immigrants, even if Rama is doing it for electoral purposes, this is not a problem for Mr. Rama.
The problem for him is the manipulation he makes of the elections in Albania, not the political game he plays. outside the critical elements and the tendency to take a greatness more than necessary, unlike the rest of the opposition, I support the tour in the diaspora because it makes the Albanians in the diaspora feel good, I encourage the DP supporters to participate because Rama goes there as the prime minister of Albania”, said Xhaferaj.
