The head of Acromax, Aldor Nini, invited to the Open show on News 24, said that Tik Tok is the only social network that cannot be managed if there is a scandal.
Nini took a hypothetical case. He said that if there is a scandal the day before the elections, if on other social networks this scandal can be managed, on Tik Tok it is impossible, since even the resident of the most remote village in the country has access to it. Thus, he explained, Tik Tok could have a “terrifying” impact on the election result.
Aldor Nini: If a scandal happens the day before the elections, theoretically… On TV it can be managed, on Instagram there is a certain audience, on Fb it is managed, on You Tube it is managed, on Tik Tok it can take on large proportions and even someone living in the most remote village can watch it and it can change the outcome of the elections. This could be bad for both the opposition and the government. Tik Tok could dramatically affect the outcome of elections.
