Prime Minister Edi Rama held meetings in Saranda this Monday with entrepreneurs who had decided to return to Albania and invest in their country.
One of the entrepreneurs present at this meeting, who had left America after 17 years for his country of birth, even invited Albanians to return to their homeland.
According to what Romeo Dauti said in America he worked long hours and life was just “work and home”, while here in Albania he claimed that besides work you have the opportunity to live, enjoy a coffee, and even go on vacation “10-15 times a year”
“I am Romeo Dauti, I lived in America for 17 years, the best part of my life and I returned 10 years ago. I deal with real estate and construction. It was very difficult when I talked to people here. “You are crazy for coming back from America”, but I swear I worked 18-19 hours. If you work that many hours in Albania, you can get many times more. America is a work factory, work-home, people don’t understand. Here we drink coffee, we live our lives as we please and I go on vacation 10-15 times a year. This is a real America, I found America here. I urge people to come back because here there are many options, many ways to succeed”, he said.
