A serious incident happened yesterday evening in the city of Korça, where an unidentified person first shot Emiljano Pinen with a firearm and then killed himself.
The event took place in district no. 4 of this city, near a private hotel. Sources provided by the correspondent of Euronews Albania, Xhensil Shkëmbi, said that the suicidal person first shot Emiljano Pine with 4 bullets, who died as soon as he arrived at the regional hospital of Korça.
The investigation team is at the scene to further clarify the circumstances. For this reason, several people who were in a bar near the scene of the incident were taken to the police to provide further clarifications.

On 28.02.2024, around 20:25, in neighborhood no. 18, Korçë, “Koço Golniku” street, a still unidentified citizen is suspected of having shot the citizen E. P., about 40 years old, a resident of Korçë, who died while being transported to the Korçë hospital.
The suspected perpetrator of the crime, after shooting the 40-year-old, is suspected to have committed suicide with the crime weapon.
Police services immediately went to the scene, where they found and seized as evidence the weapon of crime, the cartridges. The film footage from the security cameras has also been administered and is being reviewed.
For this case, a special investigative group has been created which is working to clarify and fully document the event, as well as to identify the author of the event.
