“I killed her and I don’t regret it”, said Eduart Danaj, the 50-year-old man who killed his ex-wife, Enkeleda Danaj in Greece this Thursday morning (May 16).
Before the Greek authorities, he stated that “his ex-wife was eating his money and that for many years he had extramarital affairs with several men”.
“I couldn’t see her boyfriend driving the car and his photos on Facebook”, the 50-year-old declared, among other things.
The couple had separated in March and the woman had left home.
THE ARREST OF EDUART DANAJ
After the murder, the perpetrator did not change his clothes and was walking around covered in blood. When authorities found him, he was under the influence of alcohol. He claimed he had only had two beers. Several bottles of beer were found in the apartment on Pangalou Street.
According to Greek media, the perpetrator was arrested in a building under construction, while he was consuming alcohol.
Meanwhile, a video published in the Greek media shows the moment shortly after the murder, where the 40-year-old Albanian woman is seen lying on the ground, with serious wounds on her body.
The Albanian woman was found by neighbors around 6 am at the intersection of Parnithos and Aristotelous streets.

An audio recording has been released by Greek media shortly before the man killed his ex-wife, Enkeleda Danaj.
In the audio, you can hear shouting and the fight that happened between the couple, before he massacred the 40-year-old woman with a knife.
Eduard Danaj can be heard threatening the woman, while she, in an attempt to drive him away, says: “What are you doing?!”, reports Skai.gr.

In the last time of the denunciation, she stated that her ex-husband, Eduart Danaj, beat her and threatened her, even on May 6, he went under her house and watched her, telling her that “you will see what will happen to you , I will burn”.
“Generally we never got along, he threatened me, abused me many times and annoyed me too. I have reported many incidents, but not all. For a week I have seen him watching me, sitting in his car outside my house and I don’t know why. Yesterday (May 6) around 11:30pm he was outside my house again sitting in his car. I approached him and asked him ‘why are you here’ and he started threatening: ‘you will see what will happen to you, I will burn you’. He was drunk and had several cans of beer in the car. There I went to call the police and he grabbed me by the throat with force. Then the girl called and we went to the police”, the deceased said, among other things, in her testimony to the police 10 days ago.
