Prime Minister Edi Rama has given the good news for all pensioners. From the floor of the Assembly, the head of the government announced that in the coming days they will release a fund of nearly 100 million euros, much of which will go towards the year-end bonus for retirees.
According to what the prime minister said, all those pensioners who receive a pension of up to 20,000 lek (ie 200 euros) will benefit three times the bonus of yesterday (ie 150 euros). Meanwhile, those pensioners who receive a pension of more than 200 euros, will then receive a bonus for the end of the year holidays in the amount of 100 euros.
“The good news is that in the coming days the government will release a fund of nearly 100 million euros for their year-end bonus. This bonus will be divided into two levels, all pensioners who have a pension up to 20 thousand lek, 200 euros will receive three times the bonus until yesterday.
All pensioners who have a pension up to 20 thousand lek will receive three times the bonus until yesterday through a new bonus of 150 euros, while pensioners who have a pension greater than 20 thousand lek will receive double the bonus of the years previous of 100 euros.
This difference between the first and the second is not made to give less to those who have a higher pension, but to give more to those who have a lower pension”, said Prime Minister Edi Rama, while the opposition MPs caused tensions and noises, thus bringing about the disconnection for a few minutes of the plenary session.
