Bujar Kapexhiu, has clarified on the show “Ndryshe” a statement of his that caused a stir a few months ago.
During an interview, Kapexhiu stated that women do not have the capacity to make up jokes.
This statement was met with numerous criticisms on the network, so Bujar Kapexhiu clarified what he meant.
“I have seriously decided to apologize. Last time, there was talk about humor, about humor creators, and from humor creators came a joke of mine that I still say today and it is true that humor is the privilege of the wise.
So, you can’t make humor if you are not wise, right? I mean when we say humor, real humor that makes you laugh, fine, elegant, but among these, another joke was also said.
Why are there no women who write humor? There are many different things, many different problems, many different situations, many different statements, but one that was caught here was that they were said to be incompetent.
The problem is that there are probably other problems that do not want to do humor because they think it is of a low level, they always want to be serious, and others, I am not talking about this.
Smart women of course do not write, I say smart because others are usually the ones who do not write, I call on them to write humor, because they can write in a very original, very beautiful way.
If my joke was misunderstood, then it is definitely my fault. I apologize”, he said.
