For some time already, Floriana Garo has been involved with the Re-establishment as a spokesperson and member of the Presidency.
Asked on the “Aldo Morning Show” if a spokeswoman should resemble the party leader, Garo thinks that she was chosen precisely because of the contrast with Berisha.
Floriana Garo: A spokeswoman must convey the word of the president and be the image and word of the party. However, it is not said to be like the chairman and even I think that I was selected precisely because I am not in the image of the chairman.
Aldo: Thank goodness you’re not like the mayor!
Floriana Garo: I appreciate Mr. Berisha, I have a tremendous appreciation for what he represents and what he is, but the image he conveys is different from mine and I think he chose me precisely to make this contrast and I must save it.
Garo adds that it’s important for a spokesperson to maintain authenticity, even while resisting the temptation to borrow words or gestures.
Aldo: Better the Floriana who speaks and dots the “i” or the silent Floriana who acts inconspicuously?
Floriana Garo: I have never been silent and inconspicuous.
Aldo: Man changes over time.
Floriana Garo: Each person can be different, so there are also people who work for them by being silent and inconspicuous, they achieve the things I want. I’ve been very vocal about the things that I’ve thought, that I’ve believed, and that’s my nature, and I think that one must be aligned with one’s nature in order to have the success one seeks.
