The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has arrived at the Fier prison to hold a meeting with the former MP imprisoned in this institution, Ervin Salianji.
This is the first time that Sali Berisha, after his release from house arrest, goes to meet the former DP MP.
The Democratic MP has been staying in the Fier prison since September, after the Court of Appeal confirmed the 1-year prison sentence against him for false reporting in connection with the “Babalja” file.
Earlier, former MP Salianji was also visited by other officials of the Democratic Party.
Currently, the case for which Salianji was convicted is in the High Court, after the former Democratic MP has filed a recourse.
