Fredi Beleri reacted after the GJKKO Appeal decision not to allow him to take the oath.

Through a post on social networks, Beleri states that the court is implementing the Prime Minister’s order, trying to keep Himara by force.

Further, Beleri expresses full confidence in a decision of the Constitutional Court, which according to him should protect democracy and the Constitution.

“Today, the Court, ordered by the political power, struck once again the elections in Himara. Six months after my request, he implemented the order of the Prime Minister – Supreme Judge, not to give me permission to take the oath and take the mandate. Without the oath, the mandate is not effective. Without the oath, the constitutional right to elections is violated. It seems that no elections have been held in Himara. By force of power, contrary to the Constitution, and with the lawless blessing of a personal court of the Prime Minister, every principle, constitutional and European norm is being violated in order not to release the Municipality of Himara… All our attention is on the Constitutional Court. I filed several claims there. It has been three months since my appeal against the insurance measure went to trial and there is still no trial date. Rama’s pressure remains heavy there as well. We expect the Constitutional Court to at least protect Democracy, protect the Constitution! Hope dies last, but day by day, this country’s hope is also dying!”, says Beleri, among others.
