The former leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, appeared today in front of journalists where he answered questions about what will happen to him and his deputies who support him politically, now that the seal and logo were passed to Sali Berisha.
Asked by the Vizion Plus journalist, Olta Blaceri, what will be the action that will follow now that most of the members of the presidency, the vice-president and many of the secretaries have left, Basha replied that the Euro-Atlantic Democratic Party has sufficient resources.
Excerpts from the conversation:
Olta Blaceri: It has become clear that your vice president, your secretary, all the people you elected 6 months ago have declared that they are disappointed with you and have become another political force, what will you do?
Basha: Recourse to not accepting injustice and participating in elections.
Olta Blaceri: What I ask you is that most of the leadership have left?
Basha: The presidency exists with complete structures. We clearly have forces on the ground. We have a program, now we will complete the other aspect, the list of candidates for deputies.
Olta Blaceri: You already have only 3-4 deputies behind you, the others have fled
Basha: The Euro-Atlantic PD has all the necessary resources to build a coalition to give Albanians hope for change. Albanians do not want secretaries, but a program.
