The motive for the rape of 42-year-old Rigels Kaso from Bilishti, who was found unconscious on the street, has been revealed.
Police sources inform that the 42-year-old from Bilishti communicated on Instagram with the 34-year-old’s roommate, Bajram Gjeleshi.
The latter discovered the messages and went himself to the meeting place that the 42-year-old had left with Bajram Gjeleshi’s roommate on “Sokrat Miho” street in the capital.
He was beaten with fists by the 34-year-old and his head fell on the curb where he received injuries.
Rigels Kaso is reported to be in a coma and intubated.
“Following the preliminary notification given yesterday, on 15.07.2024, the specialists of the Sector for the Investigation of Crimes against the Person have referred the materials to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, and are working to capture citizen B. Gj., 34 years old, born in Peshkopi and resident in Tirana.
Citizen B. Gj., yesterday, on 15.07.2024, on “Sokrat Miho” street, allegedly for weak motives, hit citizen R. K., 42 years old, resident of Bilisht, who is located in hospital, under the care of doctors.
The materials were handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office for the criminal offense of “Deliberate serious injury”, provided for by Article 88 of the Criminal Code, the police announced.
