The former referee of Kosovo, Hajriz Hajdari, recently made a statement to the Albanians, which was not well received, due to the accusations.
Invited to a sports show in Kosovo, Hajdari harshly attacked Albanians, as he said that the latter “sell their women to Serbs”.
According to him, Albanians are only interested in lek, claiming that the latter “sell” women in the state of Serbia to make money.
Hajdari adds that “we have to get used to these things”, thus referring to the Kosovars, to support his idea about the Albanians.
Hajriz Hajdari: They are interested in Albania, they are interested in Leku. The man doesn’t care what he does to himself… these women are selling them, they are selling them for Serbs! And women are selling day by day. It’s not a big deal. These connect the family with him. We have to get used to these things. We still take Albanian players, they count as our players. I don’t know anymore…
Such a statement may have come as a reaction to the Albanian sports journalist, Ervin Baku, who appeared in a direct connection with a T-shirt containing the symbols of Serbia. The latter received a lot of criticism and threats to his life, which I denounced to the authorities.
