Parashqevi Simaku’s ex-husband, Robert Nolfe, in an exclusive interview for Top Story, said that at this moment he wants his son to meet his mother.
“I stayed in communication with Luka and once every two years I would start and have this conversation, and it came to this situation where we are now. I am pleased that we are in this position and I think that he is open to the possibility and I say that it would be in the best interest of everyone to meet thanks to the work that Elton has done. I was shocked when I saw the video and how much it spread and I was glad that she was cooperative. I am burdened, I am here for my family and my loved ones and I do not live my life in fear. But I am burdened spiritually. I hope we have a positive result”, he said.
He further added that:
It seems that you have done a deep research, and more or less everything you have said is true. “If she made the choice not to meet her son, she was very idealistic, you’re talking about an iconic artist, she was very idealistic and maybe that was her weak point and for her, she’s not an average person, she’s much stronger, when it comes to something she believes in she stands firm on her ideals, maybe it’s the nature of Albanians, but the negativity I’m feeling, for me it matters that people love and look for a scapegoat but that’s not me,” he said.
