“Each of the colleagues has months without salary and this has not been a concern at all.” This was the statement made in the show “Opinion” by the head of the DP parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi.
This statement provoked the reaction of the host of the show, Blendi Fevziu, who asked Bardhi what they live on if they don’t live on the salaries they receive as members of the Assembly.
Gazment Bardhi: We went to the Conference of Speakers with concrete solutions, we agreed on those 3 solutions for the concerns of the opposition and the parliament has returned to normal as we had publicly promised for 5 consecutive months in every public appearance. The activity of the Assembly will continue its work normally, the majority in its work, the opposition in its work.
Blendi Fevziu: For that part of the fading of the opposition action, which Tela told you, there was information that deputies were secretly entering online meetings just to get their salary.
Gazment Bardhi: I don’t know that. I know that each of the colleagues has been without pay for months and this has not been a concern at all. I haven’t been in the Assembly for 5 months, I entered a session and was expelled for 10 days or 20 days, but I haven’t seen it as a problem.
Blendi Fevziu: It should be seen what you live on when you don’t live on salary?
Gazment Bardhi: I have no problem with this type of issue. What mattered is that we resisted until our constitutional rights were met.
