The Deputy Speaker of the Assembly and at the same time the deputy of the SP, Ermonela Felaj, invited to News24, spoke about the situation in the DP and who the majority recognizes as presidents.
Felaj said that it is not up to the Assembly to say where one is and where the other is, but it is up to the deputies to declare themselves.
“We have taken care not to say that it is not up to the Assembly to say where one is and where the other is, it is up to the deputies to declare themselves. The opposition for us is opponents and not enemies. It is a game that they are playing among themselves for their own interests, but it is not up to us to interfere”, said Felaj.
So he stopped at the electoral reform, where he said that it is not only in the interest of the SP.
“Electoral reform is not only in the interest of the SP. If we make 84 votes… I believe that there are political interests in the middle that will include numerical ones. The time is now and the best thing is to start working now. I want to remember that there were more difficult conditions, in the 2019 elections, when we had the DP on the street, we took it off the street and put it on the table. The opposition must understand that those it faces are opponents and not enemies,” concluded the vice president of Kuevndi.
