The President of the Constitutional Court, in a statement to the media, stated that “it is unimaginable in a legal state” for the Assembly to put into question the implementation of the decision of the GJK by the Assembly for MP Olta Xhaçka.

Zaçaj stated that the decisions of the CJK are final and must be implemented, as there is no equivocal to them, adding that “they have the force of law and cannot be discussed”.

“Questioning the implementation of the decision of the Constitutional Court is unthinkable in a legal state. Decisions of the Constitutional Court are definitive and final. It means they are applicable.

There is no equivocation in the decisions of the Constitutional Court. As long as they are defined as such, have the force of law and cannot be discussed, the Constitution itself has not given the court mechanisms to control the implementation of decisions because in a legal state it is postulated that the decisions of the CJK are enforceable. I will not comment further”, said the President of the Constitutional Court, Holta Zaçaj.
