The mother of Martin Cani, the 14-year-old who was killed with a knife in the heart by his peer with the initials M. P., near the door of the “Fan Noli” school, has sent a message to the protest organized in front of the Ministry of Education for her son.
In the message read by one of the protesters, the minor’s mother says that Martin’s departure has left a void that will never be filled.
Florina Cani thanked the Albanians for their support, as well as the citizens who gave first aid to her son, who died in the hospital after he could not survive his injuries.
The 14-year-old’s mother writes that Martin was full of dreams and life, but that they took both of them.
“He has left us a void that will never be filled. I thank the Albanian people for their support in these difficult moments. I don’t know how grateful I am for those who are there for Martin in his last moments.
Martin was full of dreams and life, they took both. As a mother, I wish that no one will experience such pain again. With respect, Florina and Angel Cani”, writes the 14-year-old’s mother in the message.
