A few days ago, the news that the Tirana police had fined the well-known couple of social networks, Hatixhe and Jashar Stojku, became very viral. The cause was exceeding the speed limit. They posted the videos with extreme speed on “TikTok”, from where and where the police went to stop them.
But for the well-known journalist, Milaim Zeka, the authorities have not done enough. Invited to the show “Invitation to 5”, on Top Channel, he said that in western countries, when the police stop you for speeding, not only do you end up in prison, but the prosecution starts investigations on the income, in case you are caught with luxury cars.
Zeka also made an irony, saying that when he goes from “the camel in the desert” to luxury cars, he “loses all orientation”.
“I think that in this particular case we have two phenomena. First, when you’re groomed from the womb to ride a camel, out there in the Sahara desert, and then get into an expensive, normal car to lose your bearings.
If you have no points of comparison in life, if you give the car 400 km/h and there are no oaks, no poplars on the side, you lose complete orientation, as is the case here. And I place the biggest blame on the Albanian State Police and the Prosecutor’s Office. Why?
Such people should be put in jail, not have their driver’s license taken away. Outside, if you drive the car 60-70 over the limit, they will put you in jail and the Prosecutor’s Office will investigate where you got this income, where you paid tax, where you bought this expensive car…”, he said/TAR
