The Socialists have so far held two meetings with the Albanians of the diaspora, in Athens and Milan, and it is expected that during June Prime Minister Edi Rama will meet the Albanians in Germany and those in Great Britain. The costs of these meetings are not known, while the opposition talks about 2 million euros of abuse of Albanian taxpayers’ money.

Invited to A2 CNN, the Ministry of State for Relations with the Parliament, Elisa Spiropali said that the accounts are all institutional, but added that they are in no hurry to “issue invoices.” Asked about the figure, Spiropali explained that she is not an accountant.

“I am not an accountant. The Prime Minister is in meetings, it is his duty, it is his constitutional responsibility. It also takes care of the citizens of Albania, abroad…” – said the minister.

Despite the facts published by voice and image, Spiropali rejected another claim of the opposition, that of buses full of administration employees heading to Athens and then to Milan.

“They (the opposition) are on some kind of bus from which they cannot get off… We had no room, there were thousands of people who were left outside. These claims border on desperation.” – said the minister.
