The coordinator of the “Albania Becomes” movement, Adriatik Lapaj, has denounced the lack of anti-allergy media in the Oncology Department, announcing that two patients recently lost their lives as a result of this lack.
Lapaj has warned the Minister of Health, Albana Koçiu, that there will be reports to the Special Prosecutor’s Office regarding this issue, and others like this.
He further appealed to Prime Minister Rama, saying that “he must provide the medicines before the private plane”.
Also, Lapaj stopped at the scandal of a while ago in Oncology, where he said that five doctors were “crossed” in relation to what was happening at Oncology, but the real problem is with the system.
He also called on the citizens to find courage and react.
“For life we cannot tolerate”, he said.
Lapaj: The problem is not with 5 doctors but with a system that does not provide medicines. We may not have the best highways, theaters and sports pools in the world, but we cannot imagine the ceilings in the budget for medicines.
Doctors must be made to react, society must also react, what does this society know to say if one of these patients dies tomorrow, that two patients have died from this disease. What does the Ministry of Health mean? This disease is an enlargement of the airway, causing patients to suffocate, this is managed with medication, there is no cure.
I urge doctors not to work in those conditions without medicine. I appeal to the director of QSUT not to become part of a scheme that is killing patients, otherwise I will end up in SPAK. We appeal to the Minister of Health, we will see you at SPAK very soon for this issue and others that you are leaving without medicine. I am here to call on the Prime Minister of the country to provide the medicines before the private plane. We cannot keep a private plane that costs from 100,000 euros each way without providing medicines for patients in this republic.
What I want at the end of this reaction is for citizens to find the courage and react, not to succumb to the lack of medicine. For life we cannot tolerate.
