Chermen Valiev and Islam Dudaev, the two bronze medal winners at the Paris Olympic Games, will be awarded by the Albanian government.
Initially, it was Prime Minister Edi Rama who gave the medal of appreciation to the two sportsmen, while then the head of the Municipality of Tirana Erion Veliaj announced that Chermen Valiev and Islam Dudaev will soon receive Albanian citizenship, where they will also be resident of the capital. As such, they will benefit from a 2+1 apartment in Tirana.
“I wish you find an Albanian bride and multiply and bring new champions”, said Veliaj, among other things.
Then, the Minister of Education Ogerta Manastirliu, on the basis of a VKM that has been approved for athletes, gave them a monetary reward worth 5 million new lek and 2 million new lek also benefited the coaches of Chermen Valiev and Islam Dudaev.
